Jhamycka is a self-taught "mangaka" that currently resides with her family in California, USA.

Although living outside of her homeland -[Philippines], she never forgets to showcase her Filipno roots, integrating Filipino culture and traditions in her own comics. 

​

At the age of 4, she became fond of drawing and writing short stories. And with her love of watching animes and reading different types of novels, these ignites her passion and influenced her to create her own stories. Thus the start of the creation of Aniture.

​

By year 2017, she moved and lived in Japan and was eventually exposed to a lot of mangas or Japanese comics. It was also the year that she decided to start turning her own story Aniture,  into comics.

​

Jhamycka is also a co-founder and  the current President of Webkom Alliance - a non-profit organization with a goal of uniting and supporting all there aspiring Filipino creators in promoting their own works.
