It begins when the rulers reincarnated again, and now living within a mortal vessel. Their objective is to recollect the memories of their past (says the title); and from there they have to figure out why they have been born once more.

The chapter starts with a narration done by the goddess of winter frost, Aurora. It's a brief explanation of what happened thousands of years ago when the gods and goddesses were still immortal beings. The chapter also tackles the consequences of the actions made by the rulers when they all decided to start the GREAT RULERS' WAR.

The chapter begins at Surge University Library when Rey and his men decide to torture Adam [the vessel] for them to be able to awaken the God of Death out of his sealing spell. Their objective is to use his power to start another maginoo war. But their plan didn't get along as well as they expected. Lord Aphotic was angered and in return, killed all the living beings at the entire university before he went back to sleep.

Chapter 2 starts with a dream, featuring the promise between the god of water and the goddess of winter frost. This eventually shifts to the awakening of Anne Xyzah (the first protagonist) in her bed. The story covers the decision of all the youth when they reach the age of 13.
